Other one-time events
Partage has occasional volunteer needs throughout the year. If you wish, we can add you to our list of volunteers and we will contact you via bulk email at these events.
In 2021, for example, we called on volunteers for an apricot harvest in the Valais region, or to run a stand on World Food Day. As part of a campaign, we also organised an awareness-raising event for which volunteers helped us place shopping bags on the Plaine de Plainpalais.

Preparation of food bags
The volunteer’s job is to prepare bags of food and hygiene products for delivery to the various sites in the canton of Geneva that distribute them to people receiving food aid.
Samedi du partage
The Samedi du partage takes place twice a year, in June and November.
Volunteers welcome customers by offering them a shopping bag and directing them to the products they need. They collect the bags and products and separate them into food products and hygiene products before depositing them in the tills or grids provided for this purpose.
