Whether it’s helping with the ‘Samedi du partage’ food collection in supermarkets, sorting food items or packing food parcels, we need your help! Without the help of volunteers, our mission would be impossible to accomplish.
In 2025, 5,000 volunteers across all our initiatives lent us a hand on an ad hoc basis.

Preparation of food bags
The volunteer’s job is to prepare bags of food and hygiene products for delivery to the various sites in the canton of Geneva that distribute them to people receiving food aid.
Samedi du partage
The Samedi du partage takes place twice a year, in June and November.
Volunteers welcome customers by offering them a shopping bag and directing them to the products they need. They collect the bags and products and separate them into food products and hygiene products before depositing them in the tills or grids provided for this purpose.
Sorting food after Samedi du partage
Following ‘Sharing Saturday’, it takes between 4 & 6 weeks to sort the items. Hundreds of people take part in this event every year, including several companies from the canton.
Adding value to fruit
Partage recovers perishable goods to give them a second life
Volunteers help run our recycling chain: sorting apple slices, placing them on grids for dehydration and then packing them into bags.
Delivery to beneficiary organisations
We are looking for experienced volunteer drivers to help us every morning from 7 am to 12 noon to deliver food and essential items to the charities we support.
A Category B driving licence is required, as well as a pre-employment interview.
Sorting unsold food
Every day, our drivers collect unsold food from various retailers, which is then delivered to the Fondation Partage.
We are looking for volunteers who can help between 9:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to sort the fruit and vegetables collected.
