Fleurs noirs

When dark, silent, pensive flowers meet three big, clumsy, giggling birds, what do they have to say to each other…?

Les Conservatoire et Jardin botaniques de Genève is one of the world’s leading botanical gardens, with a herbarium containing more than six million specimens, a library containing almost all the publications on the plant kingdom, and a rich collection of more than 11,000 species of living plants, many of them rare and endangered. All of the institution’s collections – herbarium, library, seed bank, DNA bank and living collections – as well as the research work of its scientists document the incredible diversity of the plant and fungal world and deepen our understanding of living organisms so that we can better preserve them.
