Edible food is packaged according to a protocol of conservation and hygiene so as to guarantee the safety of its beneficiaries, and this is done in close collaboration with the Cantonal department for consumption and veterinary affairs (SCAV):
- meat is labelled and frozen;
- fresh produce (fruit, vegetables, dairy products, etc.) is sorted and stored in cold rooms;
- stock is maintained daily;
- long-life products (pasta, rice, canned food, cereals, etc.) are stored on racks in a dry facility.
